Terms of Service
Last updated: 05-06-2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using JobAlert you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
JobAlert monitors company career pages and job listings on your behalf and sends you email notifications when changes are detected. The service relies on publicly accessible web pages. We do not guarantee that all job listings will be detected or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Some sources are processed using automated AI extraction. This processing is provided on a fair-use basis and is subject to per-plan usage limits. When a plan's fair-use limit is reached — or where usage indicates misconfiguration or abuse — JobAlert may throttle, defer, or skip AI processing for the remainder of the applicable period without prior notice. Deterministic (non-AI) extraction continues to operate where available.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use JobAlert.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to close duplicate accounts.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Free trial: new accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required to start.
- Paid plans: after the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (Basic €4/mo, Advanced €8/mo, or Pro €20/mo). Prices are charged in Euros and include applicable taxes where required.
- Billing cycle: subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time through the Subscription page. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
- Failed payment: if a payment fails your account will be marked past due and monitoring will pause. We will attempt to notify you by email.
- Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase by email.
- Free plan: the Free plan is offered at our discretion and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time. Where a Free account has been actively using the service, we will give reasonable advance notice (by email and/or in-app) and seek your confirmation before stopping its monitoring. Inactive Free accounts may be paused or discontinued without further notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use JobAlert to:
- Scrape or monitor pages in violation of those sites' terms of service.
- Submit URLs that disallow automated access in the target site's
robots.txtfile, unless you have explicit written permission from the site owner. You are solely responsible for ensuring that each URL you add complies with the target website'srobots.txtdirectives and terms of service. JobAlert does not check or enforce third-partyrobots.txtfiles on your behalf. - Attempt to overload, circumvent, or reverse-engineer the JobAlert platform or third-party career pages, including circumventing the fair-use AI processing limits applicable to your plan.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm JobAlert or other users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
The in-app feedback form may only be used to submit genuine bug reports, feature requests, or general product feedback. Spam, abusive content, or attempts to use the feedback form for any purpose other than product feedback are prohibited and may result in account suspension.
6. Intellectual property
The JobAlert platform, branding, and software are owned by DevApp Data Solutions. Job listing data displayed in your account belongs to the respective employers; JobAlert only indexes it on your behalf for personal job-search use.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that all job listings will be captured. Job-search decisions are your own responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevApp Data Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of JobAlert. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
DevApp Data Solutions accepts no liability whatsoever for any claims, damages, penalties, or legal consequences arising from your failure to respect the robots.txt files, crawl policies, or terms of service of any website you submit for monitoring. By adding a URL to JobAlert you represent and warrant that you are entitled to have that URL monitored by automated means. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevApp Data Solutions from any third-party claims resulting from your non-compliance.
